Welcome to my little corner of the POV universe where you can find tutorials on working with the Clock and Creating Animations as well as some Linux software and of course what would a POV site be without image pages.

I use POV-Ray to create animations and decided to put up some pages dedicated to the clock and animation techniques. If you've never used POV-Ray to create animations you've missed out on one of the most versitile tools yet. It took me a while to understand some of the different ways you can apply a clock and I'm still learning all the time, but I can't say I've run into any problems that aren't solvable if you're willing to think outside the box. And hopefully I'll be able to put my money where my mouth is and provide you with some new or useful information.

This site, like all my others, is meant to be a continually evolving body of work. And as such it will probably never be truly finished. So I invite you to come back from time to time and check to see what's new. I'll be adding tutorials when my schedule allows and have some more software in the works to make your life easier.

Navigating is pretty straightforward. All the main content can be accessed from this page by using the buttons in the panels below. Any time you want to get back use the HOME button at the top left corner of the page. Besides this panel there's a panel below for all the tutorials and below that xtras such as software and image pages. To the left are the link panels. The top one is for POV-Ray links, below that are my other sites (hopefully you have a reason to stop by them as well). Below that are video related links and at the bottom are some for things that aren't in the other catagories.

If you've never worked with it before I'd recommend you start by reading Tutorial 1 - GETTING TO KNOW THE CLOCK a one page primer that'll give you the basics of working the clock and writing those all important INI files. Other tutorials may have more pages and will be linked within each other so you don't have to come back here until you've finished. But you can access all the pages from here if you'd prefer. All tutorials have simple animated GIFS to demonstrate what's being talked about and as well there are downloadable ZIPS with example files.

Like the title says this is xtra stuff. At the moment only two pieces of software and those all important gratuitous ego flexing image pages that we all like to showoff.
